Afterschool was founded in 2017 with the goal of developing games that are as mechanically deep as they are aesthetically complex.
Our debut game, Cantata, is a lighthouse in this regard, offering players a game world to fall into with the depth of your favorite strategic boardgame, but with a visual style that calls to mind the best graphic novels.
Our various projects in the works pursue similar aims, and hope that, with the newsletter, you’ll join us along the path as we strive to make your next favorite videogame.
